The Cambodia Higher Education Forum and Exhibition (CAMEX) was established in 2018 to address critical challenges in Cambodia’s education system and foster stronger connections between education and labor market demands.
The inaugural CAMEX 2018 achieved remarkable success, attracting over 3,000 participants and visitors and featuring more than 50 exhibition booths from educational institutions, industry leaders, and service providers. It served as a pivotal event to empower students with insights into academic pathways and career opportunities while initiating dialogue among stakeholders.
Building on its early success, CAMEX 2024, held in October, reached new heights. The event attracted over 1,700 participants, more than 6,000 visitors, and achieved an impressive online reach of 7 million+. With 70+ exhibition booths, the forum showcased a broader array of educational programs, innovative solutions, and career opportunities.
The success of CAMEX 2024 was bolstered by the full support of key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport (MoEYS), the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training (MLVT), the Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology (MISTI), National Employment Agency (NEA), TVET Cambodia, Khmer Enterprise, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC), and the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC). This collaboration highlighted a unified effort to empower Cambodian youth, strengthen education systems, and align academic offerings with labor market needs.
CAMEX has solidified its position as a transformative platform that not only enhances educational and career opportunities for students but also contributes to Cambodia’s socio-economic growth by fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce readiness.
